Research Agenda

My research examines important scholarship in two key areas:
  1. Intersectionality and the intersection of race, gender and disabilities.
  2. Intimate partner violence among Deaf women and access to culturally responsive treatment and services.
My current research projects are related to Deaf survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) seeking emergency crisis and shelter services and Deaf women and non-binary individual's experiences gaining access to trauma related services after abuse.
