My name is Reshawna Chapple. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University Central Florida. My areas of research and practice focus on Culturally Responsive Mental Health Treatment primarily with Black women and Deaf women. My work contributes to the literature on Critical Deaf Studies, Critical Race Feminism and Social Work Praxis. My body of work advances Social Justice-Oriented Frameworks by employing Critical Race Feminism and Standpoint Theories to examine Intersectional Identity and Racial Health Disparities. |
